Video of AHL player Jordin Tootoo giving away his stick goes viral

He made this kid's day.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 25 (UPI) -- A video of AHL player Jordin Tootoo giving away his stick to a young fan after a game has gone viral.

A kid greets Tootoo as he leaves the ice and Tootoo just turns to him and hands over his stick saying, "What's up, buddy? It's all yours."

The boy naturally cheers for his gift.

Tootoo has played for the Nashville Predators, the Detroit Redwings, and now plays for the Redwings' AHL team.

He is originally from the Canadian hamlet of Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, making him the first Inuk to play in the NHL.
