"I would like to thank Ty and his staff for all of their hard work, dedication and professionalism over the last three-plus seasons," Utah general manager Dennis Lindsey said. "This has not been an easy decision, but after a thorough review process, we as an organization feel that this is the best decision for our franchise moving forward."

Corbin guided the Jazz to a winning record in two of his three full seasons and a playoff appearance in 2012.

He became the seventh head coach in Jazz history when he was elevated to the position on Feb. 10, 2011 following the resignation of Jerry Sloan.
