Washington Wizards defeat Chicago Bulls 102-93

Nene scored 24 points and the Washington Wizards had big contributions from all five starters in a 102-93 win over the Chicago Bulls on Sunday in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

The Wizards won their first playoff game in six year to take the lead in the best-of-seven series heading into Tuesday's Game 2 in Chicago.

The Bulls remained in the lead following a 14-4 run in second quarter until Trevor Ariza's free throws with 4:17 remaining put the Wizards in front. They never trailed after that.
