Bulls waive Shengelia, add Greg Smith

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bulls released forward Tornike Shengelia on Monday and added forward Greg Smith to their roster just prior to the postseason.

The Bulls acquired Shengelia on Jan. 21 from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for guard Marquis Teague, and the native of Georgia appeared in just nine games with the club.

To fill his spot on the roster, the Bulls signed the 6-foot-10 Smith, who played in 11 games for the Rockets this season and averaged 3.5 ppg and 2.5 rpg in limited minutes.
