NFL releases 2014 preseason schedule

New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - The NFL's 2014 preseason schedule includes eight nationally televised games featuring eight playoff teams from this past season.

The league released the full preseason schedule on Wednesday.

It had already announced the Buffalo Bills and New York Giants will open the preseason in the annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio, on Sunday, Aug. 3.

Week 1 features a rematch of the Super Bowl with Seattle visiting Denver. The Seahawks routed the Broncos 43-8 on Feb. 2 for their first title.

Seattle will return home in Week 2 and Week 3 for matchups with the San Diego Chargers and Chicago Bears, before closing out exhibition play against the Raiders in Oakland.
