CHICAGO, April 4 (UPI) -- Billionaire Warren Buffett is rumored to be considering buying a small stake in the Chicago cubs.
According to a source who requested anonymity, he is interested investing as the Rickett family, the Cubs owners, are pondering the sale of a small stake in the team to raise money to renovate Wrigley field and nearby properties.

Forbes recently valued the Cubs at $1.2 billion, the fourth most valuable team in the MLB. They also ranked Buffett as the fourth-richest person in the world.
