Renton, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jorgen Hus, who is known for his YouTube video showing his long snapping trick shots, was signed by the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.
Hus will compete for the starting job with Clint Gresham, who has handled deep-snapping duties for the Seahawks the past four seasons.
The 24-year-old Hus was with the St. Louis Rams during the preseason last year after signing with the club as an undrafted rookie free agent, but was released prior to the start of the regular season.
Hus is already friends with Seahawks punter Jon Ryan. In a recent story from the Regina, Saskatchewan Leader-Post, Hus said he volunteered at one of Ryan's snapping and punting clinics a few years ago and the two train together each summer at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate in Regina.
"Jon is one of those rare people you can't say enough good things about," Hus told the Leader-Post. "He's always been rooting for me, always saying good things to the right people for me."
Hus posted the famous YouTube video on this date two years ago.
