Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Adeiny Hechavarria and Giancarlo Stanton also knocked in runs for the Marlins, who made a winner out of Nathan Eovaldi (1-0) in his first start of the season.

Eovaldi scattered six hits over six innings pitched, allowing two runs with six strikeouts.

Troy Tulowitzki and Carlos Gonzalez each had an RBI double and scored a run in the setback. Colorado starter Brett Anderson (0-1), who spent his first five seasons with Oakland before being traded in the offseason, was the tough-luck loser after allowing four runs -- three earned -- over six innings.
