Cleveland edges out the Diamondbacks

Jason Kipnis and Nyjer Morgan each collected two hits and an RBI, as the Cleveland Indians edged the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-2 on Thursday.

Jason Kipnis and Nyjer Morgan each collected two hits and an RBI, as the Cleveland Indians edged the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-2 on Thursday.

Cleveland starter Corey Kluber struck out seven and allowed just two runs on five hits and one walk over seven strong innings.

Rudy Flores and Sean Jamieson notched an RBI apiece for the Diamondbacks, who saw starter Wade Miley surrender three runs on seven hits and a walk over 4 2/3 frames.
