Brett Lawrie finished 2-of-4 with a solo homer, two RBI and two runs scored as Toronto outslugged the Yankees, 10-6, in Grapefruit League action.

Melky Cabrera, Adam Lind and Maicer Izturis also knocked in two runs apiece for the Blue Jays, who announced that J.A. Happ will begin the season on the disabled list with a lower-back issue.

Brett Cecil won by fanning two in a scoreless fifth inning. R.A. Dickey worked the first three and allowed six runs on seven hits with four walks.

Carlos Beltran went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Kelly Johnson drove in a pair for New York.

Preston Claiborne was charged in defeat for four hits and six runs, all earned, while failing to record an out in the fifth inning.
