Chicago White Sox come out over Cincinnati

Jose Abreu went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer to lead the Chicago White Sox to a 9-5 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday.

Jose Abreu went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer to lead the Chicago White Sox to a 9-5 victory over the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday.

Adam Eaton collected four hits for the White Sox and starter John Danks allowed three runs -- one earned -- in 6 1/3 innings with five strikeouts.

Jason Bourgeois went 2-for-5 with an RBI double in the setback, while Reds starter Brett Marshall was tagged for seven runs on 12 hits over five innings pitched.
