Washington notches win against Miami

Nate McLouth clubbed a solo homer and added an RBI double, as the Washington Nationals notched a 4-1 win over the Miami Marlins on Monday in spring training.

Nate McLouth clubbed a solo homer and added an RBI double, as the Washington Nationals notched a 4-1 win over the Miami Marlins on Monday in spring training.

Denard Span and Chris Snyder drove in a run apiece, while Washington starter Taylor Jordan allowed just one run on five hits and a walk over 5 2/3 innings.

Giancarlo Stanton knocked in Miami's lone run with a double in the sixth. Starter Tom Koehler permitted two runs on five hits and two walks in six innings of work for the Marlins.
