LA Angels beat Royals

Chris Iannetta hit a three-run home run to lift the LA Angels of Anaheim to a 7-3 win over the Kansas City Royals in spring training action on Friday.

Chris Iannetta hit a three-run home run to lift the LA Angels of Anaheim to a 7-3 win over the Kansas City Royals in spring training action on Friday.

Kole Calhoun hit a solo home run and Josh Hamilton scored twice in the win for the Angels. C.J. Wilson tossed 5 2/3 innings and gave up three runs -- one earned -- on seven hits with nine strikeouts.

Alex Gordon went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for the Royals. Aaron Brooks gave up four runs -- three earned -- on four hits in two innings of work.
