Reds finish off Rangers

Joey Votto's bases-loaded walk in the 10th inning gave the Cincinnati Reds a 5-4 win over the Texas Rangers in spring training action on Thursday.

Brandon Phillips hit a solo home run, while Kristopher Negron drove in a pair of runs for the Reds. Jeff Francis pitched four innings and gave up three runs on seven hits with six strikeouts.

Geovany Soto had two RBI while Prince Fielder clubbed a solo homer for the Rangers. Robbie Ross gave up two runs -- one earned -- on five hits with three strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings.
