Marlins get past Cards

Marcell Ozuna smacked a solo home run in the sixth inning for the decisive run to give the Miami Marlins a 4-3 Grapefruit League win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday.

Marcell Ozuna smacked a solo home run in the sixth inning for the decisive run to give the Miami Marlins a 4-3 Grapefruit League win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday.

Adeiny Hechavarria went 2-for-2 with an RBI, Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Derek Dietrich provided the other RBI to round out the scoring for Miami. Jose Fernandez fanned eight, but gave up three runs over six innings on the hill.

Jon Jay, Daniel Descalso and Peter Bourjos picked up an RBI apiece for the Cardinals. Lance Lynn surrendered three runs over four innings of work.
