Marlins pound the Astros in Grapefruit League play

Giancarlo Stanton hit his fourth home run of the spring as the Miami Marlins pounded the Houston Astros, 8-1, in Grapefruit League action at Roger Dean Stadium.

Giancarlo Stanton hit his fourth home run of the spring as the Miami Marlins pounded the Houston Astros, 8-1, in Grapefruit League action at Roger Dean Stadium.

Stanton's blast was a three-run shot in the first inning, giving him 12 RBI this spring. He ended 2-for-3.

Casey McGehee also drove in three runs for the Marlins, who got five innings of two-hit ball from starting pitcher Jacob Turner. The right-hander allowed one run, struck out three and walked three.

Houston starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel was tagged with seven runs on 13 hits, striking out one, in four innings.
