Marlins take Mets 10-7

Giancarlo Stanton stroked a three-run homer to help lift the Miami Marlins past the New York Mets, 10-7, in spring training on Monday.

Adeiny Hechavarria went 3-for-4 and Reed Johnson also homered. In four innings, starter Henderson Alvarez surrendered only one run on three hits with five strikeouts for the Marlins.

Anthony Recker and Anthony Seratelli both collected two hits while Matt Clark brought in two runs. John Lannan was tagged for five runs on eight hits with four walks across 3 1/3 innings.
