Tyler Smith hit a home run to help the Seattle Mariners to a 5-3 win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Sunday.

Michael Saunders collected two hits with an RBI, while Endy Chavez, Willie Bloomquist and Dustin Ackley each knocked in a run for the Mariners. Seattle starting pitcher Roenis Elias allowed one earned run over five innings of work.

Chris Iannetta and David Freese both had an RBI for Los Angeles, which saw starter C.J. Wilson go five innings and allow four runs -- two earned -- with seven strikeouts and three walks.
