Holding a 21-18 lead, Baylor closed out the first half on a 21-9 run. Kenny Chery's 3-pointer with 12 seconds left gave the Bears a 42-27 margin at the break.

Baylor cruised to victory in the second half to secure a spot in its third Big 12 tournament title game (2009, 2012; both losses to Missouri).
