Giants steamroll Rockies

Hunter Pence hit a pair of solo home runs to help the San Francisco Giants to a 4-0 win over the Colorado Rockies in spring training action on Friday.

Hunter Pence hit a pair of solo home runs to help the San Francisco Giants to a 4-0 win over the Colorado Rockies in spring training action on Friday.

Kelby Tomlinson drove in a run as did starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner, who pitched five innings and gave up two hits and a walk with four strikeouts for the Giants.

Matt McBride and Paul Janish each had a hit for the Rockies. Christian Friedrich was touched for three runs on six hits over 3 2/3 innings in the start.
