Cubbies hold on for 5-4 win against LA Dodgers

Luis Valbuena hit a two-run home run as the Chicago Cubs held on for a 5-4 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in spring training action on Friday.

Luis Valbuena hit a two-run home run as the Chicago Cubs held on for a 5-4 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in spring training action on Friday.

Anthony Rizzo, Justin Ruggiano and George Kottaras each drove in a run for the Cubs. Kyle Hendricks gave up just one hit and one walk with four strikeouts over three innings.

Alex Guerrero drove in two runs while Dee Gordon and Drew Butera drove in one each for the Dodgers. Josh Beckett gave up a hit and two walks with one strikeout over three innings of action.
