Braves chop down Tampa Bay

Joey Terdoslavich homered and drove in three runs as the Atlanta Braves defeated the Tampa Bay Rays, 6-1, in spring training.

Joey Terdoslavich homered and drove in three runs as the Atlanta Braves defeated the Tampa Bay Rays, 6-1, in spring training.

Ernesto Mejia hit a two-run homer during a four-run eighth inning for the Braves. Starter David Hale struck out three batters and surrendered only one run over four innings.

Ray Olmedo drove in the lone run for Tampa Bay. Starter Chris Archer allowed only one run with six strikeouts across 4 2/3 innings, while Sam Runion gave up all four runs in the eighth.
