Redskins sign Hayward

Loudoun County, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Redskins have signed linebacker/special teamer Adam Hayward.

Hayward spent his first seven NFL seasons with Tampa Bay after being selected by the Buccaneers in the sixth round of the 2007 draft.

In 107 games with the Bucs, Hayward recorded 161 tackles, one sack and five passes defensed. He was the team's special teams captain for each of the last three seasons.
