Patriots re-sign TE Hoomanawanui

Foxboro, Mass. -- The New England Patriots have re-signed tight end Michael Hoomanawanui.

The 25-year-old had 12 receptions for 136 yards and one touchdown while playing in 13 games with 10 starts last season, his second with the Patriots.

Hoomanawanui played two seasons with St. Louis before joining New England and has caught 37 passes for 474 yards and four touchdowns in 43 career games.
