Park increases lead in women's world rankings

Inbee Park has jumped to the top of this week's women's world rankings after defeating Suzann Pettersen on Sunday.l

Philadelphia, Pa. (UPI/SportsNetwork.com) - Inbee Park outdueled Suzann Pettersen in China this Sunday to increase her lead atop this week's world rankings.

Park and the world No. 2 Pettersen entered the final round of the World Ladies' Championship tied for the lead, but Park birdied the first two holes to claim a lead she would not lose en route to a 5-stroke victory.

That decision increased Park's advantage over Pettersen from .85 to .92 average points.

The rest of the top 20 players also remained the same, with Park and Pettersen again followed by Stacy Lewis, Lydia Ko, So Yeon Ryu, Karrie Webb, Shanshan Feng, Paula Creamer, Na Yeon Choi, Lexi Thompson, Catriona Matthew, I.K. Kim, Ha Na Jang, Cristie Kerr, Anna Nordqvist, Angela Stanford, Jiyai Shin, Amy Yang, Hee Young Park and Lizette Salas.
