NCAA Game Summary - Southern Miss at Tulane

New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - Aaron Brown and Matt Bingaya each had 14 points and six rebounds as the Southern Miss Golden Eagles dominated the Tulane Green Wave, 68-51, in a Conference USA showdown at Devlin Fieldhouse.

Jerrold Brooks scored 12 points for the Golden Eagles (26-5, 13-3 C-USA), who have won five straight contests and clinched a share of the Conference USA regular-season title.

Tomas Bruha and Jay Hook each finished with 12 points for the Green Wave (16-15, 8-8), who have lost two consecutive games. Jonathan Stark added 10 points while Tre Drye cleared 12 boards.

USM shot 48.3 percent from the field in the first period, including 6-of-10 from 3-point range, as it led 36-22 at halftime. Tulane connected on 36.8 percent of its field goal attempts, including 1-of-7 from beyond the arc.

The Golden Eagles converted on 50 percent of their field goal tries in the second frame, which was good enough to carry them to an easy win. USM went on a 12-4 run to close out the game.

USM held a 33-24 rebounding advantage over the Green Wave.
