NBA: Phoenix 116, New Orleans 104

PHOENIX, March 1 (UPI) -- Goran Dragic poured in a career-high 40 points on 14-of-21 shooting Friday, powering the Phoenix Suns over New Orleans 116-104.

Dragic sank 9-of-11 free throws and dished off five assists for the Suns, who went on a 15-1 run midway through the fourth quarter to pull away for the victory, snapping a three-game skid.

Markieff Morris contributed 18 points and twin brother Marcus added 15 with seven rebounds.

Anthony Davis pumped in 32 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Pelicans, which dropped a sixth straight.

Eric Gordon provided 21 points.
