WINNIPEG, Manitoba, Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Olli Jokinen's wrist shot past Mike Smith in the fourth round of the shootout Thursday sent the Winnipeg Jets over Phoenix 3-2.
Winnipeg's Devin Setoguchi and Antoine Vermette each scored in the third round of the tiebreaker to keep the contest going, but Jokinen gave the Jets advantage in top of the next round.

Ondrej Pavelec made it hold up with a poke-check on the Coyotes' Mike Ribeiro, boosting the Jets to a win in their first game back from the Olympic break.
Blake Wheeler and Bryan Little scored in regulation and Pavelec finished with 34 saves.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Martin Hanzal provided the offense for Phoenix.
Smith stopped 27 shots as the Coyotes dropped a second straight game.
