NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Adam Henrique netted a pair of goals, including a short-handed score, and the New Jersey Devils spanked Columbus 5-2 Thursday.

Ryane Clowe and Jaromir Jagr also scored and Patrik Elias added an empty-netter with two assists as the Devils returned from the Olympic break with a strong offensive showing.

Cory Schneider stopped 17-of-19 shots for New Jersey, which won for the second time in three games.

Marian Gaborik and Artem Anisimov scored for the Blue Jackets, losers of three straight.

Sergei Bobrovsky turned aside 30-of-34 shots.
