NBA: Portland 100, Denver 95

DENVER, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Damian Lillard scored 31 points and had nine assists Tuesday in the Portland Trail Blazers' 100-95 win on the road over the struggling Denver Nuggets.

Lillard also grabbed seven rebounds in the game, which ended with Denver losing for the eighth time in their last nine outings.

Nicolas Batum scored 16 for the Blazers, who won their third in a row. Mo Williams scored 14 and Robin Lopez notched a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Denver had 16 points from J.J. Hickerson and 17 from Randy Foye. Hickerson also harvested a hefty 25 rebounds in the game, including 15 on offense.

Portland led 82-69 at the end of three quarters and survived despite being outscored 26-18 in the fourth.
