NBA: Portland 108, Minnesota 97

PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Damian Lillard netted 32 points Sunday and the Portland Trail Blazers overcame another strong performance from Kevin Love to pull away from Minnesota 108-97.

Lillard connected on 5-of-8 tries from 3-point range to help the Trail Blazers outscore Minnesota 56-37 in the second half and complete a 2-1 homestand.

Nicolas Batum provided 22 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. Wesley Matthews added 17 points and Thomas Robinson contributed 14 points with 18 rebounds for the Blazers.

Love had 31 points and 10 rebounds -- his 10th straight game of at least 25 points and 10 rebounds. He became the first player since Karl Malone in 1991-92 to accomplish the feat.

J.J. Barea netted 21 points for the Timberwolves, who lost for the first time in four games.
