SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Jean Frederic Chapuis led a French sweep of the Olympic medals Thursday in the men's freestyle skiing ski cross event.

Arnaud Bovolenta captured the silver and the bronze went to Jonathan Midol.

France has now won three more medals than it did during the Vancouver Olympics four years ago.
