Odom to play for Spanish basketball team

VITORIA-GASTEIZ, Spain, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Former NBA player Lamar Odom will resume his career with team Laborla Kutxa in the Basque region of Spain, the team has announced.

The team revealed Odom's No. 7 jersey in a Twitter message, the Los Angeles Times reported. Tuesday.

Odom, a forward, played last season with the Los Angeles Clippers.

In 14 seasons with the NBA, Odom averaged 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists a game. Last year with the Clippers, his per-game stats slipped to just 4.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

In Spain, Odom will join former Chicago Bulls forward Andres Nocioni.
