NEW YORK, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- A coin toss Wednesday has awarded the Dallas Cowboys the 16th overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft, finalizing the order of the player-selection process.
Dallas and the Baltimore Ravens both finished 2013 with 8-8 records and the same strength of schedule (.484). That left NFL officials resorting to a coin toss to determine which teams drafts before the other. A coin that had each team's logo on opposite sides was used and the Cowboys' came up.
