Spurs' Tony Parker out indefinitely with variety of ailments

SAN ANTONIO, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Injured San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker will be out of the lineup "for the foreseeable future," Coach Gregg Popovich said Tuesday.

Parker, who played just 11 minutes in Sunday's NBA All-Star Game, is suffering from "a variety of maladies" and will need time to recover, the coach said.

"He doesn't have a pulled hamstring or anything, but he's got a lot of little things," Popovich said. "Basically a lot of basketball the last three years, all season long, all summer long."

Parker, averaging 17.7 points and 6.2 assists per game through 47 contests this season, sat out the Spurs' final game before the break with a sore lower back.
