Sweden edges defending champ Canada in men's Olympic curling

SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Sweden scored a point in the final end Tuesday to defeat Canada 7-6 and remain unbeaten in the men's Olympic curling tournament.

The Canadian men have won gold at the last two Olympics and Sweden has never medaled in the event. Sweden, however, did not trail in Tuesday's match and the victory boosted its record to 3-0 in the nine-match, round-robin tournament.
