Olympic Medal: Women's Biathlon Pursuit

SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Darya Domracheva of Belarus won the Olympic gold medal Tuesday in the women's biathlon pursuit.

It was the second Winter Olympics gold medal ever won by an athlete from Belarus.

Tora Berger of Norway took the silver, finishing 37 seconds behind Domracheva. The bronze went to Teja Gregorin of Slovenia.

Anastasiya Kuzmina, who earned a 20-second head start in this race by virtue of her winning the biathlon sprint, missed two targets on the shooting range and finished sixth.
