SOCHI, Russia, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Felix Loch of Germany won the Olympic gold medal Sunday in men's luge singles.
It was the 14th time the event had been held at the Olympics and a German has won it on nine occasions. Loch captured his second Olympic title in a row.

The silver went to Albert Demchenko of Russia and the bronze to Armin Zoeggeler of Italy.
