TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Alex Killorn scored the go-ahead goal late in the third period Saturday, sending the Tampa Bay Lightning past Detroit 4-2.
Killorn's goal with 3:11 remaining broke a 2-2 tie and gave the Bolts just their second win in six games heading into the Winter Olympics break.

Ondrej Palat scored twice and Tom Pyatt provided a goal and an assist.
Ben Bishop stopped 31-of-33 shots to gain the victory.
The Red Wings had their two-game winning streak snapped despite goals from Daniel Alfredsson and Tomas Jurco.
Jimmy Howard made 24 saves.
