NBA: Miami 116, Los Angeles Clippers 112

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- A free throw by Chris Bosh with 10 seconds remaining Wednesday gave Miami the cushion it needed to pull off a 116-112 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Miami won its third in a row, fighting off the Clippers down the stretch thanks to 31 points from LeBron James and double figure scoring from six other players.

The Clippers have lost back-to-back games, but maintained a 3 1/2-game lead over Phoenix in the Pacific Division.

Miami took a 14-point lead into the final quarter, but the Clippers closed to within three when Blake Griffin made a 3-pointer with 16 seconds left. Bosh was then fouled and although he made only one free throw it was enough to secure the victory.

Bosh and Ray Allen both had 16 points while Dwyane Wade and Shane Battier both had 14 for the Heat.

Griffin scored 43 points and had 15 rebounds in a one-man show that kept the Clippers in the game.
