NBA: Boston 114, Philadelphia 108

PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Jeff Green racked up in 36 points Wednesday, three short of his season's best, and Boston held on after a quick start to defeat Philadelphia 114-108.

Green scored 39 points in an overtime win over Washington last month and hit 11-of-18 shots from the field in this one. Boston has won two in a row after winning only twice in previous 18 games.

Jared Sullinger scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Boston, Brandon Bass had 18 points and Avery Bradley had 14. The Celtics hit 48 percent of their shots from the field and made 8-of-19 from 3-point range.

Philadelphia was led by Thaddeus Young with 20 points. Spencer Hawes had 14 rebounds to go with his 13 points.
