Olivetti posts rare ATP main-draw victory

MONTPELLIER, France, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- French qualifier Albano Olivetti claimed a three-set win Tuesday that boosted him into the second round of the ATP's Open Sud de France.

Olivetti, No. 249 in the world, collected his first main-draw victory since last September when he beat French countryman Kenny De Schepper 4-6, 7-6 (7-2), 6-4. Both players won three-quarters of the points on serve but the win in the second-set tiebreaker and Olivetti's break in the third set decided the match.
