LONDON, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Richard Gasquet, the only Top 10 player scheduled to play this week, looks to defend his title at the ATP's tournament in France.

The ATP 2014 schedule resumes Monday with three tournaments. There were no events last week as the tour took the week off to get in the first round of the Davis Cup.

Top-tier players Stanislas Wawrinka, Andy Murray, Tomas Berdych, Roger Federer, Gasquet and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga helped their countries' teams advance to the Davis Cup quarterfinals.

World No. 1 Rafael Nadal and fifth-ranked David Ferrer skipped the event for Spain. Second-ranked Novak Djokovic didn't play for Serbia and Juan Martin del Potro wasn't on hand for Argentina. Those countries all lost in the first round.

The Davis Cup quarterfinals are scheduled for April 4-6, with Berdych's two-time defending champion Czech Republic team taking on Japan, Gasquet and Tsonga leading France against Germany, Murray and Great Britain playing Italy and Wawrinka and Federer's Swiss team going against Kazakhstan.
