NBA: Dallas 124, Cleveland 107

DALLAS, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki netted 27 points Monday and the Dallas Mavericks continued their dominance over Cleveland with a 124-107 victory.

Nowitzki, who had scored at least 30 points in each of his previous two games, got 12 of his total in the second quarter as the Mavs rolled to a seventh win in eight meetings with the Cavaliers.

Monta Ellis (22 points), Samuel Dalembert (18) and Devin Harris (16 off the bench) also reached double figures for Dallas, which completed a 3-1 homestand.

Kyrie Irving put in 27 points but it wasn't enough to prevent Cleveland's fifth straight loss.

Luol Deng added 18 and Tristan Thompson provided 17 for the Cavs.
