Man critical after Super Bowl party shooting in Denver

DENVER, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- A man who was shot several times at a Super Bowl party in Denver Sunday night was hospitalized in critical condition, police said.

The man, whose name was not released, was found outside a home about 8 p.m., the Denver Post reported.

Police said they had not determined what led to the shooting, which occurred in the hours after the Broncos lost to Seattle 43-8 in the NFL championship game in New Jersey.

The newspaper said numerous pieces of Broncos' clothing were found on the ground where the man was shot.

Police said in a post on Twitter that they no suspects in custody.
