NBA: Golden State 111, Los Angeles Clippers 92

OAKLAND, Calif., Jan. 31 (UPI) -- David Lee and Stephen Curry both had 22 points Thursday, sparking Golden State to a 111-92 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Warriors took a 23-point lead into the final period after giving up just 11 in the third. Los Angeles had a four-game winning streak snapped and saw its Pacific Division lead over the surging Phoenix Suns reduced to 3 1/2 games.

Lee added 13 rebounds while Curry contributed seven assists. Klay Thompson had 16 points and Andrew Bogut pitched in 14 points and 16 boards. The Warriors outrebounded the Clippers 52-34.

Blake Griffin had 27 points for the Clippers, who hit just 41 percent of their field goal attempts.

Los Angeles will play only one of its next seven games on the road, that being a trip to Denver next Monday.
