Super Bowl teams practice -- Broncos outdoors, Seahawks indoors

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Jan. 29 (UPI) -- The Denver Broncos practiced outdoors Wednesday in their first workout since arriving at the site of Sunday's Super Bowl.

Denver spent an hour and 40 minutes on the artificial turf of the New York Jets' practice facility -- a workout that took place in 21-degree temperatures with winds gusting to 21 miles per hour.

"It was great," Denver Coach John Fox said. "We're pretty much weatherproof. We practice in this stuff all the time. We practiced numerous times in single digits, played in single digits, played in wind. We've practiced in snow many times. We're pretty much ready for anything."

Denver's Super Bowl opponent, the Seattle Seahawks, went through their practice session indoors at the New York Giants' headquarters.

The most recent forecast for Sunday's game from the National Weather Service calls for dry conditions with temperatures dipping below freezing during the contest.
