PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Steve Mason logged a shutout and Scott Hartnell provided two goals and an assist Tuesday in the Philadelphia Flyers' 5-0 drubbing of Detroit.
Mason turned aside all 33 Red Wings shots en route to his second shutout of the season as Philadelphia broke a four-game losing streak.

Claude Giroux chipped in a goal with two assists.
Adam Hall and Sean Couturier also scored for the Flyers, who notched an eighth consecutive home win against Detroit.
Jonas Gustavsson made 23 shots for the Red Wings, losers of two straight overall.
