NBA: New York 114, Boston 88

NEW YORK, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony cooled off some Tuesday but his 24 points still helped hoist the New York Knicks to a third straight win, 114-88 over reeling Boston.

Anthony also contributed nine rebounds, four assists and four steals.

The Knicks superstar was coming off games of 62 and 35 points -- he has connected on 55.6 percent (56-of-81) of his shots during his hot stretch.

Tyson Chandler totaled 12 points and 13 rebounds for New York.

The reeling Celtics, meanwhile, lost for the 15th time in 17 games.

They were led by Jeff Green with 14 points and seven rebounds.
