BOSTON, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Serge Ibaka's 21 points led a balanced attack Friday that made up for the absence of Kevin Durant and carried Oklahoma City to a 101-83 win over Boston.
The Thunder played without both Durant and Russell Westbrook for the first time since the team moved to Oklahoma City. Despite the absence of their stars, the Thunder broke things open during the middle two periods and coasted to their sixth straight win.
Durant missed the game to rest a sore shoulder. He has scored at least 30 points in each of his last nine games and in the midst of that stretch scored a career-high 54 against Golden State on Jan. 17.
Westbrook continues to miss time with a knee injury.
Oklahoma City shot 53 percent from the field with Ibaka making 9-of-13. Jeremy Lamb had 19 points off the bench. Perry Jones III replaced Durant in the starting lineup and scored 10 points -- 21 below Durant's average.
Jeff Green paced Boston with 16 points. The Celtics have gone 2-13 since New Year's Eve.
